Yep in the power level needle panel....

Pointing at that didn’t switch it on+ plus couldn’t see any indication of a receiving ‘eye’ ? It activates when pointed to rear of van.

Glad you got it sorted If it is any help on mine the eye is at top left and yes, it is a bit directional
