Hi,

I am after some advice. I have a T32 and changed the Alloy wheels for a set of 18". The ride can be a bit bouncy and I have been told to get a set of Coilovers Suspension Lowering Kit Van Slam 30-70mm VW Transporter T5 T32 to the van can sit right and will improve the ride. These are £700 a set. Are these worth having or should I be looking at another set?

Cheers

I think I’ve read more negative than positive when it comes to VanSlam. Have a search and you’ll see.
And unless you need coilovers, I think the price of a dedicated sports spring + shock will come out at a similar price.
What are you doing with your van - work motor / Kombi / camper conversion?

Steve at @CRS Performance fits suspension and can advise further once he knows what you have in a van and what you want from it.

Oh and welcome to the forum.

Thank you for the response and the welcome.

We use the van as a Kombi / Family vehicle. The main reason is to have a better ride and more stability when going around corners. I live in Wales, near Swansea. If anyone can recommend a supplier & fitter it would really appreciate it.

Stability around corners is often greatly improved with uprated Anti-roll bars. Many of us in here run the H&R's alongside our chosen coilovers, and a quick search on the search box will bring up loads of threads with the H&R's fitted.
