Hi

We use it on the Fiamma canopy, excuse my ignorance but how would I put tension on it?
The guide ropes?
Could it be because the van isn’t level? As to be honest we haven’t used any levelling ramps so far

Wind the Fiamma out a little when you pitch and then wind it in to take up the slack and tension it.

Ahhh, I missed the bit where you said it was attached to a Fiamma.

Never had a problem with it coming off the rail, but I do find it a faff...might give the pole method a go...

Worth a try and might help with your fabric snagging issues a bit as this will raise the height of the connection slightly.
