Upgrading submersible pump in the underslung tank

Could any of you guys advise the best way of removing the submersible pump from the underslung tank? Is it something we can do at home?

In a nutshell you just need to lower the tank, open the inspection hole and pop the electrical feed and water pipe off the pump.
The hole for the power cable is likely sealed so you’ll need to consider that when replacing the pump.
Ramps will be fine (or even parking the van halfway on the pavement may give you enough clearance).

Hi Ads thanks for advice, we had already had another look this morning and sussed it. But pump looks man enough already so think we may need a different tap, as water flow is rather feeble.

Why not upgrade to a shureflow 3 stage pump add it to the pipe before the tap.
