Stick with it, it's a great forum where the wealth of knowledge is immense and we generally don't take ourselves too seriously. Being a Forum, people have different and diverse views and some won't marry with your values. It's just the way it is

The 7 comments you refer to that have been constructively replied to were made after I posted about the 2 initial responses so I dont consider that unfair. As a mature adult I don't feel the need to blow someone's candles out to make mine burn brighter but guess you get an element of that on all forums. Ill just turn the other cheek

The best way is to hit that ignore button on people who annoy you.

It's the internet, you will always get these people unfortunately.

I joined this forum in the hope as a newbie to VW campervans I would get some helpful responses. However, my first post was met with 2 unhelpful replies; one of which was a belittling comment.
Not a nice welcome.
If you can't be constructive, silence is preferred.
I’m really surprised at this.
This is the best forum I’ve ever been on with super friendly and very helpful members.
I’m not sure what’s put a bee in your bonnet but persevere on here and I’m sure you will enjoy being a member

@smartiepants, I would also add that you need to be more specific about the information you are seeking.

In your opening post you asked where to get white wheels - hence a tongue-in-cheek reference to Google (which you took exception to). When you subsequently clarified that you were actually seeking the technical specification of wheels that are suitable for your Transporter... which you could then use to conduct your search, you received fact-based responses rather than answers gently poking fun at the vagueness of your ask.

As ever, the adage "garbage in, garbage out" applies.

What you consider gently poking fun or tongue in cheek is your perception; not mine. Some would even say poking fun is bullying. I didnt ask for specs because obviously if I'm asking for comparable wheels for a T6 then isn't it obvious they have to be suitable for such?
