Hello forum,
I hope you can help with this question - having never had a pop top or a Transporter! I am planning on viewing a van for conversion and will be looking to also have a pop top fitted.
However, the van has a round roof vent already fitted.
My question is, will I be able to fit a pop top? Once they do the cut out, will the vent hole be within the cut out area (in which case ok) or outside of the cut out area (problem).
Looking at the side view, looks ok to me as pop top will be forward of the vent.
On the front view, I think should be ok as looking at other pics of pop tops online, the pop top / cut out goes closer to the edge of the van (i.e. more aligned with the right of the headrest).
Whereas this vent seems to be aligned with the left of the headrest. Appreciate the front view is not that clear.
Thought I would post here first before trying to get an answer from a pop top installer as hoping to view the van tomorrow.
I hope my question makes sense and thank you in advance for any answers / comments.
