Underfloor Electric heating

Has anybody heard of putting underfloor electric heating throughout a T6 conversion?
Would it be suitable?

Also does anyone have experience/ review of Austop pop up roofs?

I wonder how much heat would be lost under the van, as UFH in buildings incorporates a hefty barrier to send the heat up, rather than down. But it would be nice to have warm tootsies :geek:

Thanks for the link Ed.
I’ve installed similar to scree floors but wondered if anyone out there had experience of similar and its efficiency in a camper?

There must be a way as we have UFH in our caravan (knaus lifestyle) and it works a treat.

Yeh we do use other heating sources, however when it's on it does a good job. We can't rely on it solely as it is a large space 8ft wide 18ft (interior) length and around 7ft height interior.

Great. Thanks for info Simon.
One last question. I presume when on, it eats up electrics?
Do use use it with your leisure battery or only when hooked up to mains at campsite’s ?

Yeh, hook up. Maybe worth a trawl around Knaus website as it is an optional extra so might be able to be purchased as spare part??

Can anyone tell me if I can
Put electric film on the floor for heating I’ve got 160watt solur pannel fitted basically underfloor heating but don’t now if the pannel would have enough uff
