Has anyone here had any dealings with Uberbus in the last few months ? and if so how did you get on and did you receive your items ?

I personally have had deep misgivings about this outfit for a long time now. But despite this I noticed an item I really need to finish my van had finally come back into stock after being unavailable for quite some time (HD Tailgate Struts), I decided to bite the bullet and order a set (these are not cheap), I promptly received an automated order confirmation and that has been it, That was 3 weeks ago.

I had expected to receive these before we head for Europe in a weeks time, I have tried to contact them by email & phone but as per my previous experience's with them I have been met with a deafening wall of silence and no response to my polite enquiry's what so ever ! in fact the only response I did get was an error notification from my emails telling me they hadn't been delivered because Uberbus's email inbox was full......... This alone pretty much tells me everything I need to know about this outfit...............

So do I wait it out in the blind hope I receive my parts while we are away ? or do I start claim proceedings with PayPal and hope to get my money back ?

I used them once early last year for a spare wheel carrier.

It took a few weeks to arrive, and email chasers took an age to get a response. However, the chap did eventually respond and was apologetic over the delay.

The item arrived after about 3 weeks and was first class quality.

But yes, communication costs nothing and goes a long way to reassuring the buyer.

If I ran my business & customer service like this lot do I would have been bankrupt in 6 weeks flat !
What winds me up is the utter lack of any communication, phone just rings off with no answer machine, and now email is useless because it keeps getting bounced back because their end is full ! Its a necessary evil but If you cant cope with admin no matter how much you hate doing it, you shouldn't be in business end of !
