Transporter T6 front washer jets not working.

Hi, Can anyone help me .. my new to me transport has been fantastic until now. From jets stopped working so I tested the power and I have 12v reversed for the front and rear so thought it was the pump. So fitted new pump and it’s not. Rear work great but nothing on the front. Took the new pump off and when you pull to activate you can hear the pump try to start very slowly then stops.
Is there a module for this ?
Don’t know if it’s a coincidence but I’ve just fitted a new steering wheel with paddles for my DSG . It all work with out issues so thinking it’s unrelated.

So any tips / help would be welcome.

Sounds like the "new" pump is faulty. Have you also tried the old pump with it out of the van?

I’ll be checking the pump I removed tomorrow. The new one is a Genuine parts so I hope it’s not.

Old pump works so looking like Salk or BCM fault
