Tinted Windows Advice Please

I'm having my tailgate tinted this weekend.
Any recommendations for level of tint enough to keep scumbag eyes from prying but light enough so i can still see out in rear view mirror?

The tailgate window is factory tinted already, but my guy said he used Limmo Tint over the top of it, not sure if that's an official term, but it's virtually impossible to see in, but plenty bright enough to see out of the back.

I got my Kombi windows done with the same stuff, works really well.

The Limo Tint in mine not only looks ace, but does all the things you mentioned above re stopping people seeing in as well.

Top tip, we originally booked in for the 'standard' film, they tried to talk me up to the 'premium' which had a longer guarantee. I wasn't going to fall for that old tr... Oh it's only an extra £20? Why didn't you say so? Get that stuff in my van.

I went for one beneath limo, and if you put your head right up to the glass, you can see through (thought I’d mention this in case your tinter suggests tinting to the same level).

Hi
Thanks for info above.
Hijacking this thread as looking to do the tailgate and windows in my shuttle.
Would appreciate people’s thoughts on getting sliding door window as well as rear side window, or just rear windows and tailgate?

Will kids see out ok with limmo tint in sliding door window?
We’ve got factory tint all round currently.

Also, any recommendations for professional job nr sheffield please?

Thanks!

This is our (ex)Shuttle with Limo tint all round. My daughter doesn't seem to mind the tint, if anything it makes her more comfortable on the odd occasion the sun comes out.FeWfIHRrQgqmukLMh%XqoA.jpg

I had the @VGC Ltd sliding and fixed windows installed. They’re limo tint. No problems with looking out of the window (in the daylight, granted).

I went for privacy tint, except the widow with the full height locker behind it which is limo. With a Shuttle, if you have privacy tint as opposed to limo tint, you can darken things down by putting the perforated blinds up, giving you similar to limo tint. If I could do mine again, I'd probably put limo tint on the rear window though.
