Team Blackberry

Is your roof blackberry or black? I ask as i am having a pop top roof fitted soon and dont know if i want to pay the extra to get it painted in the backberry. I quit like the contrast with the black.
It’s the ‘standard’ gloss black. I was the same when picking but glad I did as I think the contrast is good and works with the dark tint on windows etc

Do you have a pic with the roof down against the body? I would be keen to see the contrast.

What roof did you go for?

Many thanks.

The ones from before are as good as I have atm and you should be able to zoom in to see the roof against the body. I can try and get another couple tomorrow if you want anything specific.

It’s the standard skyline roof.

Edit - can maybe see it better in these?

I will go back and have a look. I like the black with the blackberry.

How do you find the roof, any rattles or creaking? I have yet to decide on which one to go for.

Get the odd creak from it on bad surfaces etc but nothing too bad and assume it’s fairly normal for a pop top (only one I’ve had). No complaints and quality and finish is good

Hi all,
Obviously not a T6 but having now bought a Porka, I’m trying to workout if the colour is BlackBerry. It was originally Sand Beige and a previous owner
changed it but didn’t log down the paint code.

I have put a few pics in to try to help, any thoughts on whether it is Blackberry or not, I won’t hold you to account lol. Cheers Jim

Could be. I had a 1996 Mk6 Escort in a similar colour called ‘Aubergine’ and it could be that too.

Afternoon @Loz, just a quick question on tyres if I may please, we’re currently running BFG’s at 225x65/17, got about 20000miles on and getting noisier so starting to think about replacements. Have read a few of your posts about the Pirellis and that you seem very happy with them. Still the case? Probably looking at 235x65 just to be a bit less stretched on our wheels. Thinking that the Pirellis likely to be better in the wet than the BFG’s as well?
Cheers
