What’s the chance of getting a T7 sub section? Sold my sportline a couple of years ago, moved to a Defender and now in a T7. Didn’t completely abandon the forum and still popped on now and then. Done 1000 miles in 3 weeks inthe new van and it is a nice play to be and I can’t really fault it.

The idea sounds feasible... A T7 section.

@Pauly what do you think.?

The technical side of the van is a ford. So 100% different.

But there will be T6 Forum members that will move to the T7, same as the Crafters, that have spent years on here, and trust the Forum.

So the social side of things stays the same, as will friends and the more generic camper/camping side.

Our Trusted T6 suppliers and also branching out an covering both the T6 and T7.... THQ for example.

So maybe there is room for a T7 subsection next to crafter corner?

A "Ford Transit & Re-badges" section won't be bad, IMHO.
Using the T-word may be confusing, IMHO.

I think a sub section is good for the T7.
I have been into VW’s since the seventies and see it every time a new model comes out. People turn there nose up at it for various reasons, they can’t afford one, they don’t like change, they think what they have is the best. But then when the time comes to change their currant model they have gone to what they snubbed months/ years before.
I can’t afford a T7 but they are growing on me slowly. I want a T6 which when I sell my motorhome I can afford hopefully. 👍

I am not a into VW from long, and sure I do not feel like a fan yet, but I thought that this time it was different.
Or did VW do this already, like Fiat does every time?
I understand your reasoning, though. The real fan won't look behind the logo and will accept ("grow into me ") anything. And call it with lovely T- names.
Marketing has done what engineering couldn't do.

To be fair I echo the above. Whether there is a separate section for the new generation ford / Volkswagen vehicles or not, the social side and knowledge shared on this forum is fantastic. From rubs for your meat to indoor aerials to general DIY tips I have picked up and learned so much that's before I even get to the stuff on vans!

There are pros and cons with every vehicle and to be fair I couldn't and didn't really give two hoots about what badge was stuck on the grill! I effectively have a VW e-shittle (deliberately did not change the autocorrect there lol) before VW even released them! Would be good to share discissions with like minded individuals. Anyone who does not want to interact can Foxtrot Oscar!

Yes I think people will eventually move to the ‘new’ Transporter, lots already call it the T7, even converters and retailers, although it’s confusing with the T7 multivan. 2025 Transporter? I’m not fussed over the name just think it would be a good idea to keep people on the forum, like you say with crafter corner etc. have a custom corner so you get the transit owners too 😂
