T6 steaming heated wing mirror problem

T6 steaming heated wing mirror problem.

I recently aquired a 2018 T6, i noticed this morning that when i put the mirrors on heat the right one demists quickly with no steam coming off it, the left one however take 10-15 mins longer to demist and steams like a kettle. it doesnt look broken or like its been hit or anything, does any one have any ideas? i work till late so am struggling to be able to investigate it in the dark. i assume something needs replacing?

My guess is that the heating element has separated from mirror glass so there is an air gap behind the glass.

Hi all I need to get a replacement wing mirror cover mine is fitted with side assist are all the wing mirror covers the same or do I need to get one specific for side assist? Also any recommendations of where I can buy one already painted Im far to lazy to get one that I then need to take...

Or possibly a 3rd party mirror stuck over a cracked oem mirror?

well i took the mirror off, couldn't see anything lose or any problem, guess i need a new "mirror" part?
