T6 Shuttle: Rear passenger seat comfort?

jcarlosfox

Need help importing a van to USA!
Hello,

Newbie here.

Wondering if anyone had comments on the rear seat comfort in the Shuttle. Replacing a T4 for a T6 Shuttle and wondering if my teenagers will tolerate long trips in the back, or are the seats too upright, or otherwise uncomfortable.

Thanks for any insight.

Hi we are a family of 2 adults and 4 children and use our LWB Shuttle for touring holidays in Europe .The 2 teenagers sit in the middle row seats with the younger 2 in the rear most bench. The seats are considered very comfortable with no complaints of them being too upright.

Hope this helps

Bit of a holy thread resurrection.

Having come from a well appointed Skoda Superb, the ‘squeaks’ are moaning a little that the rear seats in the van are not quite as comfortable (no padded seat edges / door to lean into) especially now the fronts have arms rests!!

They’ve always had little travel pillows so I’ve suggested having bed size pillows, which was met with ‘Kevin’ type groans!

Just wondered if you can get arms for the 2/1 seats or whether the shuttle panel liners have elbow rests? Another idea is to get some blocks of foam cut to suit and covered as sort of elbow rests?

Any other suggestions? (Rear speakers fitted in readiness to pump up the volume!)

cheers
Ian
