T6 OEM heater ducting issue

Trying to fit the b pillar ducting and have hit a snag, see photo below. I intended to cut the vents into my existing b pillar trim but the y vent is too wide. My trim fits flush to the paint line. Do I have the wrong y adaptor? Is there another Y adaptor?

Yes. You have the wrong Y piece. You have a caravelle one. You need a standard one.

So, here goes; having received all of the necessary parts from @Pauly, today I have set about cutting the van paneling in order to install this ductwork so that when I go down to Propex Leisure at the end of March, they can connect their LPG heater to the OEM ductwork, rather than using an ugly...

Thanks Deaky, had used that list to order with VW. Is there a way of ordering through this forum? Just need the Y and the B pillar trim with the vents and a hole for the switch.

You can’t buy it through the forum I’m afraid. TPS or dealers is your best bet.

Thanks, I’ll give it a try, issue seems to be they need a reg and of course the reg of my van is no use as it’s never had the parts I’m trying to order. Will try again with the list you suggested.

If you have bought the incorrect wider one then the part number will 7E5 this is for a caravelle with wider B pillars
Change the part number so it begins 7E0 for the narrower one suitable for a van/kombi

Yes I bought the slimmer 1 and then bought the wider version which is right for my van? Let me know if you still need one?

Thanks Phil, I now have the right one.....eventually....... from VW but sounds like you had the same experience, took me 3 attempts to get the right corner duct.

Yes I thought I’d done something wrong, all in now and looks good, I am going to use an Autoterm D2 I think. It at the moment doesn’t matter as can’t really go anywhere, so no rush. Pleased you got the parts

I need the narrow y ducting, are the vents the same for both wide and narrow ducting?

From memory i think there are two parts that have a 7E5 parts option and i think its the y duct and the rear vent outlet
