T6 LWB Friendly parking in Edinburgh

Hi all. I'm new to the VW Van scene, picked up our T6 LWB Highline Kombi a few weeks ago and already have plans for the summer. One of which is a trip into Edinburgh for the day on our way up to Aviemore. Does anyone know of any van friendly parking close to the centre, don't mind a bit of a walk, and don't mind paying over the odds for somewhere suitable.

Cheers

Friendly parking in Edinburgh! Good luck, that's if you make through the Bus Lane maze, cameras everywhere, the place hates motorists.
Tongue out of cheek, sorry can't help, if I had to go to Edinburgh, I'd probably consider the tram park and ride, just off the M9 at Newbridge.
Edinburgh Tram park and ride

Why not stop off for a night at the lovely Morton hall campsite ? Really nice city site with a fairly quick n cheap bus ride into the centre .

I had a chat with a old work colleague who lives up in Edinburgh and he suggested the Ingliston Park and Ride. From what other sources I could find online it does seem to be the best way to visit the centre.

Thanks for the responses

Calton Hill is where I used to park when my daughter was going to Fringe events. 4 hours parking at a time. She has difficulty walking but could manage from there into the Old Town.
You do need to get to the Leith side of Edinburgh first though, I hated having to drive her into the centre.
