Hi, I have a 2015 T6 and I’m looking for a way to disable my interior alarm sensors Temporarily, I read about a button on the inside of the drivers door pillar but my van does not seem to have this, can anyone help.

The OEM sensors are in the center roof consol.

If they were factory fit you will have the dissable switch on the drivers lower b piller..

Are you sure you have the ultrasonics fitted?.

Got a pic of the roof panel and b pillar?

AFAIK no button = no alarm

highlines have alarms, start lines and trend lines do not

Mines a Treadline, when I locked the van while inside to sleep the alarms went off after a while so I can alone assume there must be interior sensors

aftermarket ones look like this . . .

...

here is my factory fit ultrasonic sensors . . . .

the basic alarm monitors . . . . AFAIK

door switches,
tilt - tow away, (may be part of the upgrade pack)
voltage drop.

so any of those could trigger the alarm . . .

Alarm triggers are logged in the BCM and can be seen with VCDS (the last 5x triggers or so)

****************

you can also pay for the optional factory option "upgraded alarm" which i did.

that gives you the Ultrasonics, Battery backed up siren, and the b pillar switches.

but VW seen to move the goal posts as they see fit.

****************************

so if you have no ultrasonics in the van then it must be triggering off any of the above sensors.

Yes they are aftermarket.

If its just a temp measure then a square of gaffer tape over the sensors will stop them.

If its more permanent either tape up and leave behind panel...

Or trace wire back to controller and unplug...

Have you got a separate remote for the alarm?

Or is it all off original key?

It’s only temporary while we sleep in the van, more so when wild camping so the tape trick will work
. I will trace it out when home and see what I can find
It’s all on original key.
