Hi, I have a 2015 T6 and I’m looking for a way to disable my interior alarm sensors Temporarily, I read about a button on the inside of the drivers door pillar but my van does not seem to have this, can anyone help.

That is weir. Normally if you have motion detection sensors than there should be deactivation button on drivers B pillar.
Can you post the photo of your internal sensors?

Hi All,

I am unable to disable the interior alarm sensors as per the attached video, can anyone offer any advice?

I have checked the switch and nothing looks out of the ordinary with the internals. I pressed the lower section of the button but see no change in the LED colour, mine stays red with no change to the interior sensors.

How to disable the T5/6 interior alarm sensors.

Ignition off, drivers door open, then pullress the button (its a finger hook like the tailgate switch) and it will turn yellow

On mine it only works if I shut all doors, open drivers door and press button on B pillar, it lights up, then close drivers door and lock with fob, you will know if its de activated as deadlocks don't engage, 1 clunk instead of 2 on locking van
hope this helps

Wot ee said!

Pretty sure this is the Drivers Handbook on all vehicles.

you will know if its working by listening when you lock, should only make 1 clunk not 2 if interior alarm is disabled as this also disables deadlocks I believe
Did it, I pressed the interior disable button pressed the key fob and double lock. Seems the button isn’t playing ball or I have a loose wire somewhere.

Any suggestions?

Have you had it scanned with vcds?

I don’t have VCDS as I sold it when I sold me GTI @Skyliner33 I only have OBDeleven at the moment.

Did obd11 not come up with any faults? Maybe we should have scanned your van at Southport o_O

Edit: I can scan it for you if you need but I’m currently at my vin limit so can’t code.

OBD will do a fault scan just to make sure there are no errors
Are you getting any weird flashing red lights on the door button popper upper downer thing ?

I only have OBDeleven at the moment.
To verify switch operation (T6) with OBDeleven:
Control Units > 09-Central Electrics > Live data > Channel 17 - Value 3 shows either not operated or actvated (when switch operated).
To confirm you're doing right thing back up (left arrow down left) to channel 15 - press your keyFOB and look into "Value 1"

Ok scanning with my OBDEleven. The pop up button I. The door doesn’t seem to anything unusual although I don’t tKe much notice of it.
