T6 2016 CXHA engine EGR MAF P010100 link?

OK, I just bought a 2016 T6 with the 150 BHP CXHA engine. It came with known EGR and MAF faults from an honest private seller.
I am waiting to clean/replace the EGR as it has P04C00 EGR Sensor A and P040100 EGR recirc flow fault codes.
However it also has P010100 MAF even after being having the MAF replaced by a new genuine Bosch part, not VAG but the same part number, I also tried swapping it out with a known good one of my other T6.
It has a new air filter. I've visually checked the MAF wiring and can find no air leak, although I haven't smoke tested it yet.
My question being is it possible that the EGR could be linked in t0 the P010100 code?

Ok, seeing as I got knocked down in the rush with answers (lol) I'll post my findings in case it helps someone else out there.
The garage fitted, new air filter, wasn't fitted correctly. The smoke test found that straight away. The leak was small and couldn't be heard.
So now hopeful that the P010100 wouldn't come back.
How wrong was I.
So next the EGR was mapped out, this cured the P040100 :) However the dreaded P010100 was still there after a few miles :(
So this time the inlet was smoke tested, with the turbo to EGR link elbow disconnected.
Bingo, the smoke appeared pouring out of the EGR, the EGR must have been too carboned up to be fully shut and seal.
EGR Blanks fitted, problem fixed.
Just need a new EGR now, I cleaned one on my other T6 previously and wasted a day of my life :(
Hope this helps.
