Maf sensor

Hi guys just replaced my maf sensor as I had a fault and believed it caused some adblue issues adblue counter reset on a run but after stopping and restarting I got the no stop start and a maf sensor reading too low code I deleted all codes and drove 10 miles nothing has returned just wondering if the maf sensor needs setting somehow or could it have been caused by me driving with new maf fitted with old fault codes still stored

I once baught brand new MAF (maybe Metzger) and it wasnt ok. Switched to Bosch and it was ok.
