T6.1 - SOS retention with aftermarket headunit

Hello,

I am installing a new headunit Alpine LX-f115d and I want to retein the SOS e-call. I have ordered the retention kit (it is out of stock for the moment) However I was wondering once the kit arrives, I would to know where it needs to be installed. As I am removing the dash panels, depending where it is located I will not put the panels back (It took a quite effort to remove the dash panels).

Do you know where the SOS retention need to be plugged? Thank you for the help!

Is it possible to disconnect the antennas from the com unit without the car tripping up? Thinking about purposing the shark fin antenna. I have a Teltonika 4G router laying around that would be perfect for the task, 12V power, external antennas, wifi etc. but needs a good outside antenna.
