So basically I’m getting code,
B101C13 driver seatbelt switch open circuit.
This is due to the front seats being from an older vehicle and the seatbelt buckle switch being incompatible with the T6.1 2020 from what I can gather.
The code is with the latch disconnected, if I connect it it gives me short to ground.
Does anyone have any insight to if this can be coded out? Or what would be required to bypass this sensor?
I know everyone is going to say buy a new buckle and yes I suppose I should but the top and bottom of it is that the seats are temporary until I get some to match the rears, the vans stolen recovered and had the interior stolen. Some of you may have seen my previous thread about wiring, this is still ongoing but when I have all the information I’ll post a full update on that.
That aside I’d like the airbags to work for the meantime and it’s also disabled my cruise control!!
Thanks in advance as always
