Hi there folks, can anyone know or confirm if a digital cluster removed from a t6.1 transporter van thats mileage is lower than the van it is to be coded to can be done?
I am not 100% certain if you can roll the mileage up. I know you cannot go backwards, which makes sense.
Again, from what info I have managed to get it seems that you need genuine odis to register a new cluster (makes sense) but if using a preregistered one, vw require 48hrs to confirm not stolen.
Again not sure if this is correct, odis can not change the mileage on a cluster unless brand new. It requires software from the likes of aribtrites or similar to change.
Been offered a digital cluster from a non stolen t6.1. Genuine reason for the seller removing.
