T6.1 replace front grille trim with bumper in situ

are there any front grill covers / caps out there for a 6.1 that dont require the removal of the front bumper to fit them?

this sorta of thing...

You can get the standard trims off without removing the bumper, it’s a bit of a fiddle but with trim tool and a bit of care it can be done, if you are replacing them anyway then damaging the clips is less of an issue

Looks so good! Was it difficult to add the fog lamps in the bumper? I actually prefer the black plastic bumper

Hi everyone,

I have a 2022 VW Transporter T6.1 Shuttle SE, I'm not a big fan of the chrome effect grille and wondered if anyone had successfully removed the chrome trim without damaging the grille underneath?

Also, has anyone bought the grille trim covers you can buy from VW? If so, are they any good?
