T6.1 inner door panel

Anyone got any tips fort getting the T6.1 inner door panel out?

I'm wanting to get some sound deadening in the door.

I've got it loose, but it don't want to come out and also it seems to be supporting the glass....

There must be a sequence / procedure for this..?

So I found the info for the T6 posted by Andysmee.

Thanks Andy this was enough to see me through, though there are differences; the obvious one being that inner the panel is a plastic moulding.
I didn’t need to do anything with the lock, other than disconnect the Bowden cable at the door card & feed it back through the panel.

I did have a problem refitting the door card; I may have put too much sound deadening and absorbing…. The rear edge doesn’t want to clip back on .

Hi #Rids I’m doing the same job on my T 6.1 and like you I’m struggling with the metal inner card in as much as I’ve removed al the outer bolts holding it in place but something is holding it in place in the top right corner how did you detach yours. I can’t seem to find any way to detach I don’t suppose you have any pics?

If it’s made of metal then it’s a T6 door (T6.1 has plastic inner panels)
