Removing roof lining panels on LWB T6.1 Kombi/Crewvan

Hi guys,
I'm in the process of sound deadening/insulating my T6.1 Kombi/Crewvan. What's trick to remove the roof panel above the second row seats? Does the plastic joining strip that holds it in place need to be removed as there is not enough back and forward movement of the panel to get the lip of the panel out to drop it. I had a bit of a go at pulling the strip down but thought I better ask before I break something!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, yes, the plastic joining trim needs to be removed. there's 6(?) clips from memory, takes quite a bit of force to get them to shift! Trim tool and patience required

Thank you for the response. I'll put a bit more force into it then!
