T6.1 heater stopped working

The heater on my Transporter 6.1 has stopped working - a/c is ok.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Yes, but it didn't throw up much in the way of help.

Air lock or low coolant?. A 6.1 will still be under warranty so speak to your dealer.

Thanks - I'm some way away from a dealer, so that will have to wait.

I'll certainly check the coolant, but what would I do about an air lock?

The fan is working ok (as is the a/c).

Mine stopped working 3 weeks ago. Not hot air coming through vents.
Had it in vw garage today, they reported 2 items broken on control arm. Being replaced tomorrow.
Seems to be a fault that happens.

Hi,
Does the heater just blowing warm air? My van is doing the same. I have looked under dash and can't see anything broken. Someone mentioned having the van scanned . Could you please let me know how it goes
