Tried my T6.1 dsg in manual and it goes up through 1-7 and down again no problem.

Thanks, I’ve had mine back to the dealer who admitted that it wasn’t right then said that three other vans they had were the same??

Thread resurrection but I've got the same issue, DSG in manual mode does nothing. Will shift down or up briefly then make its own mind up.

Will mention it when it goes in for its first service soon.

Mine's fine. Obviously, it won't let you do stupid shifts beyond the parameters of the engine.
