T5.1 low oil pressure (caab)

Good evening, so I've recently purchased a t5.1 with the 2.0cr caab engine.
Annoyingly and something that could potentially be quite expensive the low oil pressure light flickered up whilst driving when the engine and oil is up to temperature. This has been confirmed by plugging a gauge into to switch port in the cylinder head
I've removed the Sump and found fragments of the wet oil pump belt partially blocking the oil pump strainer.
I have now cleaned out the strainer and fitted a new belt along with new oil pump and all the other bits that have to be removed to replace the belt. Unfortunately after all this work i still have low oil pressure when hot. There are no unusual noises ie knocks or rumbles. But im concerned theres bearing wear either on the crank or camshafts which is giving me the low oil pressure.
Im toying with putting a replacement engine in to save chasing this problem without a complete strip down. Can anyone recommend a engine re builder who knows these engine well that would be able to give me some advice as to what to do next.
Many thanks

Darkside Developments and Retro Resus are a couple.
The sump strainer is just that and will only remove the larger particle, there is a chance that the oil filter got clogged and went into by-pass.
You could remove the sump and use Plastigauge to evaluate the wear on a main bearing.
