T32 and class 4 mot?

So it sounds like there is no real answer and it could be either class depending on who you ask.

As I understand it, and I may be wrong, you could take an armoured personnel carrier or even an aircraft tug for an MOT, and if its kitted out with the necessary living arrangements, bed, sink, table, etc, it's a class 4?

Isn't how the vehicle is presented that is the deciding factor, not it's notional class?
