MOT Advisories

Hi all.

Just passed MOT with a couple advisories, one being: Engine mounting damaged but not to excess lower (6.1.8 (a) (I) .

My question is, what mount is this pointed towards and was wondering if this could also be causing a slight knocking sound ? Driving me made and I'd like to get it fixed.

You'll have to ask the guy that tested it to answer both questions.

Could relate to any engine mount.

They said the bush on the front mount has perished, not damaged. Just that's the only code they can put through. I'll have it replaced anyway

at the same time as the above service 52k miles , we had the Front lower engine mount replaced.

this was a warranty job. . .

Actually, that's the front upper engine mount.

There is another one at the front of the van at the bottom of the engine.

It's probably that's one?

I've seen this on eBay too,
