T32 Air suspension alloy and tyre - stagger or not

i know this has been done a fair few times regarding t32 and load rated tyres so here’s what I’m looking at:

Judd t311r alloys in 20”
Staggered 9 front and 10.5 rear
245/45/20/103 tyres on front
265/40/20/104 tyres on rear

In this spec I can get the same tyre brand and tread.

If I went 235/45/20/103 front only vredestein do tyres and you can’t match the rear with the same brand and tread

Knowing that the air boys will laugh at a 40 and 45 thickness it will keep me right and maybe I’ll get 35 tyres for shows.

Should however I stagger the alloys?
Does anyone else have any thoughts on combinations on a air system with load rated for a t32

I have heard that the air system on a T32 does not quite work the same, in that it does not drop it as much - possibly something relating to the hubs!!! I can't remember where I heard this but if you are going down that route be worth discussing with a range of companies first.
The Judd's though - good choice, top notch rim:thumbsup:

Yes your right and some people put T30 hubs on them. To be honest though I’ve seen T32s dropped low and it’s the tyre profile that’s been the problem.

Been speaking to a few companies ;)

Yes I'd heard the T30 hub swap thing but wondered how that would work with it being a T32, so is the hub then not rated for the vehicle?

Yeah would mean under rated hubs and under rated suspension while having the load plate to a t32... don’t want to go down that route for negligible difference

Quite agree. Not worth the hassle.

I think when it come to staggering it depends on what look you want to achieve? with 10.5 rears you will get a can have a deep concave, but the front will be flat really as if your going air 9,s will be to big unless you can get the correct offset ? 8.5" would be the best bet ? I am running 9.5" et35 fronts and they would be no good for air. The rim is too far out to slam under the arches :D
@Walski is the man to ask?

9 is the minimum on the judd alloys and they do them in et45 which speaking to the specialists will work

the t5 boys do a hub modification to get them at there lowest think you can do it to the t6 but don't know the details yet

Right just for clarity, Tamar have the wheelsbit they are stamped to 815kg which is below what I need.

Email to judd advises:

since the production of these wheels we have processed further testing which these wheels have passed at the load ratings supplied by Tamar wheels which make them suitable for your vehicle

So Judd t311rs are definitely ok for t32s

I called Judd a month or so back about the 311Rs. I can't remember the rating for the 9 inch wheel (20" diameter) but it wasn't high enough for t32. The 10.5 was fine. I asked the guy about the 9.5 but he didn't have the rating and was gonna contact the factory in Taiwan but he never came back to me. I'll see if I can find the piece of paper with the numbers when I get home.

Interesting....as I too have been longing for a set of these. Let us know when you've got them fitted. Interested to know if they have any rubbing issues, though I guess difficult to compare if you have air suspension.

Quick update, having to go 9.5 front on et45.

Hopefully they will come this week then air being fitted next month
keaney out of interest what air set up you going for m8 ? abp and accuair e level seems popular at the moment

Going with 45 tyres on front to support the load, shouldn’t rub but aired out may sit on tyre
