I currently have 17 inch Devonports with commercial load rated van tyres (215/60/17)
Given the recommended psi and rock hard side walls the ride is quite harsh. I want to move away from the 107/109 load rating to a 103 rating (its a T30) I don't have any issues with the current tyre size but can't seem to find any in a 103 load rating. I am considering fitting 235/55/17 where there are plenty of options at the 103 load rating. Currently only the rears need replacing, therefore I would run the 235's on the rear and the 215's on the front until they need replacing.
Has anyone tried this set up or foresee any issues with it?
