I changed from a 2004 T5 174 manual to a T6 180 DSG 4 motion. The 174 was much quicker off the mark but the 180 DSG is so much more refined and relaxing to drive with the power still there when you need it

Yes I had the T5 174 manual which although an engine with its niggles it was a great one. However tomorrow I pick up my T6 DSG, settled for the 150.

We are pretty much the sam as you, new Caravelle & new Motorhome, and a really nice car which is older, running 100% and I will not change until it goes bang.
We take the Velle out of choice every time over the car (Volvo XC60 top of the range), we love Vans
