T 6.1 Remapping

Hi guys, my previous VW was a 17 plate T6 I had it remapped and it was great for 6 years I have now bought a 22 plate T6.1 with the Bosch ECU and need to find someone who can remap the ECU.

I have been told that it can't be done yet I have seen a few posts on here stating that it can be done?

Please help if possible, any advise on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Following this. I have a 20 plate 6.1 the 110... could do with a bit extra for when pulling out on the motorway etc. Other than that I find it absolutely fine

Hi guys,

My van is a T6.1 2022 with the Bosch ECU 110BHP I find it very under powered for everyday use. My previous van was remapped to a stage 1 - 185BHP with add blue deleted and it was perfect. Plenty of power if required, didn't need to keep adding add blue ever other month.

Just want my new van the same as my old van power wise and the add blue deleted if possible.

Everyone is telling me that it can't be done yet I have seen posts on here that they have cracked the ECU and the power gains are impressive.

Can anyone advise me who I can contact to get this done on my van.

The Bosch ECU was locked... But has been cracked.... I'm not sure if any of the mapping companies have made any off-road/race track maps yet?

Are you out of warranty yet?... As mapping a ECU will loose your engine related warranty.

Incase you wasn't aware AdBlue delete is illegal on UK roads.

Thanks for your reply, yes, the van is just out of warranty, thanks for the add blue info.

Its the lack of power that's the main issue not the add blue. I will send Dav-Tec a message and see if he can help me with this.

ECU can be done but has to be sent away. There’s a thread on here somewhere. It also costs a ton of money! Maybe one day someone will work out how to do in situ, but dont think so yet.

Re ad blue delete, isn’t it also an MOT failure if discovered?

Had a quote through MRC for it previously

£1500+VAT and equally mad - they would need the van for a couple of weeks, as the ECU is shipped off somewhere else to do.

Needless to say, I’m ok with the power in mine.

T6.1 150bhp Bosch model

I'm in a 150 6.1 manual, Bosch jobbie,would like more, old T5 was on 181bhp (probably a Pendle map).
