ECU Remap - DIY

Perhaps a slightly contentious question, but I am looking to have an ECU remap done on my VW T6 150hp. Unfortunately, everyone I have contacted here in Switzerland simply does not respond to my emails.

Most of the reputable remap providers seem to be based in the UK, and travelling there just for a remap is not realistic. Are there any DIY ECU remap options available where I can purchase the map, pay a refundable deposit for the tool, and receive the deposit back once the tool is returned?

Maybe you could try in DE/FR/IT/AT depending in which Canton you are.
It cannot be that far... my CH friend Hansuli when buys a new car uses to take a tour of the County... in one weekend !
Or in PL the next time you pass by, there seem to be a lot of electronics skills there and it will cost you probably much less than CH.
If you really want to keep it DIY, did you consider the Chip box ones , where you install externally a pre-tuned chip (and possibly you remove it at will)?

I have seen ecu that have already been remapped online i think they remove the immobiliser so you can fit straight to your van
