Switched live - where?

Gents help is required

I purchased an inverter/LB and split charger for my T5 a few years ago and never got round to fit it , anyway I've since purhased a T6 and have decided to fit it only to find it won't work....

After many night trolling the net I found that the new vans are fitted with a smart alternator and the split charger don't work with these ... many people recommend to buy a CTEK D250SA so I did...

Now I'm struggling to find a switch live to power the unit.... can anyone help? Pictures would be even better

Assuming you have fitted LB and kit under seats then there is no switched live under there
You could run a wire to lower dash fusebox and pick one up there ?

With it being my work van the LB ect is in the rear, lower dash fuse box am I right in saying this is under the gear stick? Thanks for the help

Yes below gear stick to the left
Top of the centre column of fuses are all ignition live so can tap a supply there

if you mean the control wire, I would think the smallest one you have..

low, but fuse appropriate to the cable thickness.

2A to 10A would be good.
