Swamper wheels and Solows as a combo

I’m considering buying a set of 18” swamper wheels from THQ and fitting on my LWB T6.
Any one on here tried this combo, and what tyre size.
Any advise appreciated

Im waiting for these to come out in some of the other colours. I'm not keen on the Fuel bronze colour, its a bit brown for me.
As for tyre either 235/50 or 225/55 would work, or you could even go 235/55.

Thanks, the one in the thread are 17s and I’m thinking 18s. Just undecided on the tyre combo.

I’m going 17” swampers, with Cooper tyres 225x55x17. Now have to wait for more stock to arrive at THQ

If you are going for the Zephers T5 Upgrades has them in stock.

I think the 17s just look right, with 18s it will throw the speedo out. But then again the 18’s are in stock oh no....now I’m debating it again

18s wont throw the speedo ou if you choose the correct size tyre

True, but then its a lower profile and you lose out on the comfort of the 55s profile.

I bet the difference in comfort between 235/55r17 and 235/50r18 is not really noticeable.

I bet the difference in comfort between 235/55r17 and 235/50r18 is not really noticeable.

Agree with this. The noticeable change in bump impact is vastly diminished as the profile increases for same width tyre. Inversely the ‘wallowyness’ in corners increases.
