Steering wheel controls

[Blitz]

hi I’m looking for a shuttle and notice some have steering wheel controls.
A few questions please.
Is this a factory option add on?
Or standard upgrade on newer models?
Does it automatically mean you have an upgraded head unit fitted ie with android/Apple play ?

Also I assume aftermarket head units can make use of these controls with the correct cam bus adapters ?
