Help please

Three questions regarding the downloads available
1. Does the Euro download include the UK or do I need to download both?
2. Can i import using the POI upload facility on CarNet or is it best to use a SD card
3. Do I copy the downloaded file or do I open it and copy the two files within it.

Thanks in advance for your help. I am confident in updating the map but a bit of a chicken when it comes to installing POI other than through CarNet.

2 Not sure not tried it but I suspect not, I think you will need to use the SD card
3 The download file needs to be unzipped and the contents needs to be placed on the root directory of the card

If you are unsure about the process then I would advise to use a different card to install this and leave the map card as it is

Thanks for this - your right you can not do it through CarNet, I will load the file onto an empty SD card and stroll out to the camper and give it a go, fingers crossed

Hi, yes for the maps you can only use the original VW card, what I am trying to do here is add some POI to the VW card.

OK all done, just for the record I unzipped the file which created a folder called 'Speed Cameras'
On my first attempt (which did not work) I copied this file over to the spare SD card.
On my second attempt I deleted that file from the card and instead copied over the two files within the main file ( one called metainfo2.txt and the other PersonalPOI)
I put this in the second (right hand slot) on the satnav followed the instructions and the POI's were copied over perfectly.
Just then had to go into the POI file and turn them on
