Just fitted my rib seat, unfortunately now the reinforcing bar is in the spare doesn't fit, i have dropped the bracket to the lower holes, still no joy and even drilled new holes above to drop it further, still wont fit, so does anyone know if i can get a space saver wheel?
at present my wheels are 255/45/18 i can only find 17" space saver wheels, can i make up the difference with a higher profile tyre?Don't really want to travel without a spare.
Any info appreciated. Thank you

We refit the spare wheel all the time with a RIB and the Kiravans certified beam with standard rims by lowering the hanger at the front hinge bracket to the next hole down. Anything larger than the 215 tyre and you'll have to make a bespoke extension piece for the front and rear of the saddle.

My spare is 215 still cant get the bloody thing to fit!! Looked into getting a thinner space saver but cant find one with a suitable load rating.

I've fitted the Kiravans bracket when fitting my RIB seat. I have standard Devonports 17inch and fitted them back into spare hanger by just dropping the bracket down onto the lower setting.

Good luck in your fettling!

I just got a blacksmith to add 15mm onto the back bracket and 20mm onto the front bracket.
