Greetings all,

have been lurking around for a few weeks , I have today placed a factory order on a T6.1 Kombi Highline and am looking forward to picking it up in October. I have 4 upgrades planned
1) 3rd row bench seat - booked
2) sound proofing and carpet lining - unsure who to go to?
3) Leather seat upgrade
4) 18 inch alloys

any advice on who I should contact for sound proofing will be much appreciated as lot of these conversion places don't like doing just the soundproofing and carpeting on its own and want to only get involved in full camper conversions.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations

Hi Cymro- thank you for your reply- these guys do some real plush work from what i can see. I wanted the soundproofing, insulating and carpet done all in one go. one question? if i was to fit a 3rd row bench seat would I be able to still have a bed conversion like in their display pictures? cannot make out if its the 3rd or 2nd row . Thanks for the recommendation, will certainly give them a ring.

So i made contact with the Daryl from unique vans, a very friendly chap. Looks like they specialise in carpet, sound deadening and insulation. I enquired about the bed option they offer, i was advised that it is only possible with a bench seat and has to be moved back a few inches closer to the 3rd row which means a 3rd row seat conversion is out of the question as i want the option of a 3rd row of seats. Seen the wessex vans set up and I am not sure i like the faffing with the metal frame. I like the Ovano idea but its very overpriced in my opinion. My options seem to look limited Its either the bed or the 3rd row of seats. Next for the link as Unique vans appear to be the ones.

Hi @Badger, I’d certainly recommend Unique Vans.... I’d already done the sound deadening with Silent Coat, and insulated with Dodo Super Liner, but Daryl took over from there with Dodo Thermo Fleece, new ply panels and a lovely job on the carpet lining!

Hope it all works out.

We do carpeting and sound deadening and full interiors, we also have a bed option. Maybe a chat on the phone if we can help.

Hi Bognor, what bed options do you recommend that would also allow the 3rd row of seats? Would you be able to expand?
