I bought the van in August 2023 as a bog-standard panel van. I have since started making it into a more comfortable panel/day trip van. The list of modifications are as follows.
Parts I have but have not fitted, also included in the sale.
The van does have a few dings around it, mainly on the rear doors. The driver’s door check strap needs replacing as it is worn and creaks like the door to Dracula’s castle.
I can’t think of anything else to add as I write this. I think I have covered everything. If not, I will edit this post when I remember.
Looking for £16k for it with everything listed above included. It will have a fresh 12-month MOT before sale.

- Stripped out interior to fully sound deaden the cab area, including doors.
- AbsoluT5 Signature package audio upgrade (£1400) consisting of,
- Hertz Mille door and pillar speakers.
- Audison sr5.600 Amplifier.
- Hertz Cento 10” sub-woofer in their own design and manufactured under seat enclosure.
- Collars.
- All cabling.
- New Alpine ILX705D multimedia head unit. (original head unit included).
- New Rusty Lee TUV twin swivel base for passenger seat.
- Retro fitted new OEM reversing camera.
- Retro fitted leather multi-function steering wheel and coded so all the buttons work as they should for radio control and hands free.
- I’ve carpet lined the ply rear panelling including head lining, using a silver-grey colour 4 way stretch liner carpet.
Parts I have but have not fitted, also included in the sale.
- New Amarok 18” banded steel wheels, 9” x 18” front 9.5” x 18” rear. These were fresh out of the box new wheels sent straight to the bander for modifying. Once done I had them powder coated bright silver with additional pearlescent added. Brand new Hankook Ventus S1 Evo3 245/45/18 extra load tyres fitted. These wheels have been in the back of the van since I picked them up from having the tyres fitted.
- New H&R/Koni coilover suspension kit with new OEM top mounts and bearings. These have Koni adjustable damping on the front. Still sat in the box under the stairs since getting them (cost £1450 suspension and £170 for the top mounts and bearings).
- T6 tailgate conversion parts
- The tailgate is candy white, factory green tinted screen, rear wiper, and OEM reversing camera.
- Pair of LED tailgate taillights.
- Pair of candy white plastic trims that fit underneath the lights.
- Pair of T6 gas struts.
- I was hoping that would be all I needed to do the job, but no, I also had to buy the following,
- Tailgate rear bumper, is a new genuine rear bumper, never fitted, unpainted commercial type.
- Pair of reflectors to fit the bumper.
- A pair of T6 tailgate gas struts.
- New OEM tailgate hinges, seals, spreader plates, nuts.
- New OEM tailgate locating guides and fixings.
- New OEM top door seal.
- I also bought OEM lower gas strut mounts, covers and fixings, but these, I have since found out, won’t be needed if you buy the conversion brackets.
- The lot owes me over £2200.
