Sodium Ion batteries. Interesting read.

they could be the next battery tech . . .

been loads of chatter over the last 6months.

well have to see some real world testing

It’s a bit like the iPhone saga, where you buy the latest model and within 6 months a better one is made. Having just bought a 180amp LifePO4 battery, I will wait a few years before buying an upgrade. Interesting read nonetheless.

Oh definitely, I’ve been caught out by being an Early Adopter before. I’m now older & wiser and more tight fisted. Let the technology mature & the prices drop.

Been following this for awhile…..the marine trade is wanting to go electric but as we all know lithium is not good with water…l live in hope I can hang on for awhile with lead acid then jump straight to the new technology once it’s tried and tested…..we shouldn’t rape the earth of its precious rare materials…we need to learn from our history and what ever we use make sure it can be recycled..

If I recall my school boy chemistry, sodium is pretty dodgy around water too.
