But seriously I've had the same issue with my Loc8 (carpeted) it hits the wheel arch on opening. I've tried a few types of ebay clips without success. See some notes here. I thought I had fixed it but it seems dependant on the parking angle - so not a real fix...

Anyone know where the real VW clips can be found? TPS job?

I got the real vw clips from my vw commercial dealer. They had them in stock.

I find if you open the passenger door slightly and then close the sliding door it doesn’t need so much effort to close. Electric latching door looks good. May be another thing for la
