Hi everyone , i'm hoping someone can help with my sliding door jammed shut. The door seal was a bit loose and got caught as the door closed. I have looked at other threads and it seems it could be the seal is preventing the door from making an electrical connection on the wedge with connections on. Its not coming up on the display as open so i could be wrong with that as it knows its closed. The seal is well and truly jammed so it may well be this that is stopping the locking mechanism from operating. I have tried to take the smaller door card off but that looks like its connected to the rest of the door panel. I then tried to pull the whole door card off but i just cant get any angles on it to take it off. I did find a small cover which i removed and that reveals two Torque bolts which appear to hold the rear mechanism . I think i still need to take the panel off - anyone cot any tips? Thanks for your reply , i had seen that post and its very helpful, but just wondering if anyone has any tips on getting the door card off when the door is shut ? Apparently there is a cable to pull to release the door so it looks like i will have to cut a hole in the door card if i cant get it off. If anyone has a photo of a "naked" door that shows the cable I would be grateful as it will give me an idea where to cut the hole...
