Sliding-Door handle removal

Hi all, I need to remove the door handle on the sliding door, due to some paint damage. Doe’s anybody know how to release the handle from the van.

I reckon it’s a door card off then a torx screw to remove small piece at back of handle then pull handle back and out. Is this a 6.1?

No it’s a t6. I reckoned the door card removal, I was just unsure what holds the handle. i guess I will find out at the weeken.

Let us know how you get on. My paint has rubbed of the rear of the handle through use so I'll be attemting the same at some point.

I had to wrap a 6 a while back and I’m sure that’s how it was.
