Hey all,
I'm looking for wheel inspiration.
Hopefully getting an Ascot Grey lwb T6.1 and want to put some offroad/swamper wheels and chunky tyres on it.
It will likely be slightly lower than standard. But not on air this time.

Not Ascot Grey, but I just changed mine from 20" 275/40/RZ20. Ride was hard and handling not to my liking.
I added 17" Fuel Zephyr Wheels with Falken Wild track 235/65/17 All Terrain. Totally different beast.

Loving this look, are you lowered at all if so how much and whats the road noise like, thinking of swapping my 20s..
I think I have been lowered slightly. Standard shocks all round but have Eibach coils on the front.
235/65 is a good size. Great grip less noise. These are quieter than my 20” but the van did come converted with cheap tyres.

I've got the same wheel and tyre package but lowered 70mm. I haven't noticed any more road noise compared to the Goodyear's that I had before. Overall I've been nothing but impressed with them and the extra volume is an added bonus for comfort.

My wheels have been sold since yesterday. So now I'm in the search myself, LOL.
Was thinking of going to 17" with a falken wildpeak 225/65 17 this time.

I've found some 'new' wheels, that I like since they are not that common.
What do you guys like the most? Or if you have experience with one of these please share your thoughts/remarks. :)

The Navis ones are the most known I guess , but they look small in my opinion.

I really like the Cruize Swamper ones, that's my nr1 choice, but haven't heard from this brand. They are sold only by a UK company (extremealloywheels.com)

The third one is the Targa wheel, also nice , but it bulges to far out for my likings.

And the fourth was my previous nr1 pick before I swaw the Cruize, that's the Fuel Cycle.

I'm currently running the Navis Gelida. As you say a bit small.
Really I want the 18" Fuel Covert in Bronze, but they're not available anywhere.
Looking at your pictures, they do look better than on my examples. What tyre sizes are you running?

My previous wheels were 18 inch , and I liked them, but wanna try 17 inch now. Just to have some more comfort because of the higher sidewall.

I still feel they're too small, bigger tyres would fill out the arches better.
These are 55/225 don't think they're load rated, but we're supplied with the wheel.

yes indeed if you look at my old wheels those were 235/55 18 tyres and they fill the arches nice.
For the 17's i would opt for 225/65 17 that's even slightly bigger. Since i'm running coil overs and wanna keep the lowered swamper look, i'm not going for 235/65 17. Changes for rubbing are greater.

@racerke600 I run 235/65/17 on Fuel Zephyr wheels which are 8.5J ET. 34 for reference. I have no rubbing at 70mm and I'm sure many others have this combination without issue.
They do look nice

The wheels where the first thing we put on our new t6.1, honestly make the biggest difference! We found the bfgs in the 235 so they don't rub on a full lock

These look good, do you mean that they made the ride smoother, less noisy?
Thanks, they are a smooth ride to be fair and not really noisy like some people say. We were going to get the 245s but alot of people mentioned they ribbed on a full lock then found the 235 lots of tyre and grip on them I'd defo recommend

Finally found some time to throw'm on.

Rear has 15mm spacers, tried 5mm in the front but to keep everything 'balanced' went with no spacers in the front.

The rear sits the same front and rear now. Could also work with 20mm+5mm or 25mm+10mm spacers.

But the sliding door is the main cullprit, it already catches the door card now.

So for the time being going to leave it as is. Just need to order som extra black bolts for the wheels.
