Metallic Ascot Grey colour option, pros and cons going with Metallic?

Hi Team Ascot Grey.
I have put my order in for a Transporter T6.1 LWB in Ascot Grey with the addition of the Appearance Package. I am not sure if it is wise or worth the additional cost to go for the Metallic paint option. Vehicle delivery is set for the second half of 2024, so I still have some time to finalise some options.

Are there any Team Ascot Grey owners of a Metallic Ascot Grey van? What are your thoughts on the Metallic option? If you have any photos could you please post?

According to VW here is Aus there is an option to go for metallic in Ascot Grey and for the other standard colours. Still considering whether it’s worth spending the extra AUD$1340. I’m told I have until the vehicle is in production to finalise.

I didnt know either they done a metallic in this colour! But We picked up our new Ascot Grey T6.1 Swb last month...absolutely love this colour and had so many comments about it...started our camper conversation
