short-circuiting wire on the Bonet switch

I had high rev problem with my van where it use to sit on 1000rpm and it was doing it intermittently for the last six months (I have 2012 t30 diesel with dpf) after a lot of head scratching and changing lot of sensors in the end all it was a short-circuiting wire on the Bonet switch

That could stop the regen happening, so maybe ash levels were getting very high and forcing a longer regeneration.
